Muizenberg Beach, Cape Town – This weekend, the Her Surf Spirit Girls Intermediate Surf Camp will take place at Muizenberg Beach and nearby venues. This is an awesome opportunity for young surfer girls to improve their competitive surfing skills and prowess and make new friends and surf buddies.

Times: 8am to 5pm
Cost: R 1200 (total, and includes lunch and exciting goodie bags)

Aim of the Her Surf Spirit Girls Camp:
This girl’s training camp aims to introduce and improve competitive surfing for girls between the ages of 10 and 17.
– Competition Basics and rules
– Judging Criteria (Shortboard & Longboard)
– Priority & Interference Rules (Including Games to practice)
– Beach Clean up & Ocean Awareness
– Contest Heats & Practice with full comp setup and priority system (Both Days)
– Surf Movement Session
– Surf Technique Session
– Goal Setting
– Breathing Techniques
– Award Ceremony (All participants receive certificates upon completion)
