Sea Harvest Junior Open
Durban, South Africa: The 2025 Sea Harvest Junior Open surf contest will take place this weekend, May 17th and 18th, at Dairy Beach in Durban. This SAST event will feature U12, U14, U16, and U18 boys and girls divisions.
The contest venue is Dairy Beach in Durban, a beachbreak between the piers with good left and right-breaking waves. It is an ideal venue for the best young competitors in the country to display their surfing skills to spectators and the judges.

Top surfers from all over the country have already started arriving in Durban to begin training with the coaches at Dairy Beach, and there is much excitement surrounding this event.
Contestable Conditions
Fun, contestable conditions are forecast for Dairy Beach over the weekend, with the wind staying mainly light to variable for the competition period.
“We are looking forward to running two days of surfing in Surf City Durban for the Sea Harvest Junior Open,” said Surfing South Africa General Manager Reza De Nicker.
“Durban has had a run of crazy good waves lately, and whilst we hoped to luck out with cooking conditions for the event, the forecast is looking fun.”
The event can be followed on LiveHeats.
